I can't believe it's been a whole year since the last Sidewalk Arts festival!
For those not in the know, Sidewalk Arts is a yearly festival held by SCAD wherein students draw with chalk on sidewalk squares in the big grand place known as Forsyth Park. Hundreds of students, prospective students, and alumni gather to strut their stuff while thousands of people look on. There's nothing special about the chalk used - each student is assigned a box of plain chalk, and from it they create amazing artwork.
It really is a lot of fun. I've been every year since I came to this school, and I will say that this year my square turned out far better than last years. ^_^;; This time around though I had to go off into the alumni section, since technically I graduated in march.
Keeping me company are my fiance Matthew (who's behind the camera) and Gobot, my personal little mascot (that little red thing standing by the book XD )
Great stuff! I tremendously enjoyed the first volume of Azuri (read it three times already <G> and am keeping a lookout for when the second volume comes out. Keep up the great work!
hehe I got myself a picture of yours while I was there... If you looked at everybody elses, I did the one where the fish is looking at it's reflection in a bubble! oh yeah! Good job, by the way...
Darn it! I must've missed seeing yours! There were so many people there, I just sought out my friends' squares who told me what numbers they were, saw 'em, then left to grab food.
That's definitely a "wow" though! Excellently done! Gotta love Azuri.
